Overview

This privacy policy applies to all Fusion 360 add-ins developed by Linden Technology, including but not limited to:

Our Commitment to Privacy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. Our add-ins are designed to operate within your local Fusion 360 environment. We never receive, collect, or store any of your data. Our add-ins:

• Do NOT use cookies or tracking technologies
• Do NOT collect analytics or usage statistics
• Do NOT share data with third parties

Information Collection

Our add-ins only access data necessary for their core functionality, which includes:

• Reading the active Fusion 360 design to create geometry
• Accessing user input parameters for geometry creation
• Reading selected entities (bodies, faces, edges, sketches) as required for operations
• Accessing the Fusion 360 API to perform modeling operations

Data Storage

Our add-ins store the following types of non-personal data, all locally on your computer:

• Saved Settings (optional): If you choose to save your parameters, they are written to a file at a location you select. Nothing is saved unless you explicitly use the Save function.
• Log Files: Our add-ins write a local log file for troubleshooting. It records the parameters used, processing times, and any errors — no personal information. The log is stored in the add-in's folder inside Fusion's AddIns directory:
  • Windows: %APPDATA%\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\API\AddIns\<AddInName>\
  • Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/Autodesk Fusion 360/API/AddIns/<AddInName>/
  You can view or delete the log file at any time.

All data remains entirely under your control on your local system.

License Verification (Autodesk App Store)

This is the only internet connection our add-ins make. When you use a paid add-in, it contacts Autodesk's App Store web service (apps.autodesk.com) over a secure HTTPS connection to confirm your purchase. The request contains exactly two values: your Autodesk account's internal user ID and the add-in's App Store ID — nothing else. The request goes directly to Autodesk; we operate no server of our own and never receive any of this data. A successful result is stored in a small local file (entitlement.json, under %APPDATA%\<AddInName>\ on Windows or ~/Library/Application Support/<AddInName>/ on Mac) so the check is not repeated every session; you can delete it at any time. If you are offline or the service is unreachable, the add-in continues to work.

Third-Party Services

Our add-ins do not integrate with or utilize any non-Autodesk services or APIs.

Security

Your information remains as secure as your local Fusion 360 installation and computer system.

Your Rights

You have complete control over all data created by our add-ins:

• All geometry and parameters are part of your Fusion 360 design files
• You can delete or modify any created entities at any time
• Uninstalling an add-in removes it completely from your system
• Any local log files can be deleted at your discretion

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of our add-ins after any changes indicates your acknowledgment of such changes.
